“Show ‘Em How to MC” featuring Grandmaster Caz is the first official single off the upcoming “Vintage Album” by Fokis & RP. Produced by Fokeezy (Fokis’ alias as a producer) this song has all the elements of a B-Boy anthem. With lines like “I keep it moving but my status is frozen” Grandmaster Caz (of the legendary Cold Crush Brothers) shows why he is considered the greatest of all time. “Working with Grandmaster Caz was a true Honor and learning experience” – Fokis The song has been selected as a featured single on iTunes in the hip-hop section and is available for sale. You can also pay what you want via Bandcamp, that means you can pay nothing or something for the new single…. Like black sheep, the choice is yours.

The Vintage album is scheduled for release in Early 2012 and features Hip-Hop legends Kurtis Blowz, DMC, Kingsun, Sadat X, Lord Jamarz, Kool G. Rapz, Spoonie Geez, King T, MC Eiht, N.O.R.E. and more. Created with two purposes in mind, “The Vintage Album” was intended not only to salute Hip-Hop’s pioneers but also to re-create the sound and feel of the early 80’s through the mid 90’s.

As the executive producer, Fokis took great pains to capture the authenticity of the music as sonically and accurately as possible. Every rap legend got matched with a new track that captured the spirit of their sound perfectly. The result is a beautifully crafted, collection of hard-hitting, rhythmic songs that still represents today’s generation in Hip-Hop.
